Philips DVD-963SA SACD/DVD Player

The 963SA modification featured a LC Audio ZapFilter output stage, a quad of 1,000uF Black Gate power supply filtering capacitors, Cardas RCAs and/or balanced outputs, and a power control relay.  The player was very lively and musical when modified, unlike the stock machine which I described as having only one bass note.  The modification was available from January 2004 to December 2005.  The modification was discontinued due to the inherent instability of the 963SA design and lack of service parts. 

Sony DVP-NS500V SACD/DVD Player

The NS500V modification featured a LC Audio LClock XO2, Burr Brown OPA2134 opamp, Black Gate coupling capacitors, 3 power supply filtering inductors, 3 1,000uF Black Gate power supply filtering capacitors, and a copper power supply shield.  The NS500V was the second modification available from SACDmods, and was discontinued in December 2005 since the 500V was out of production for years.

Sony SCD-XE670 SACD Player

Generally sold in Canada and Europe as the single disc equivalent of the CE775.  Excellent player when modified, but exceedingly rare in the U.S.  Discontinued since I haven't worked on one in years.  The modifications was exactly the same as that used in the CE775 and C222ES.
